Staying at this pousada in Arraial was a delightful surprise during the typically frenetic holiday season in Brazil. We shared a spacious, recently refurbished room with another couple. With new mattresses and ample bathroom space, it provided that essential comfort we all crave after a day of exploration. What stood out, though, was our culinary experience. The complimentary buffet breakfast served daily at 7 AM was a fantastic start to our mornings. Simple but satisfying, it featured fresh fruits alongside varied breads, making each breakfast a pleasant affair. The hotel’s restaurant later on, with its relaxed ambiance, was a perfect spot for unwinding. Each meal felt thoughtfully prepared, showcasing local flavors that really told the story of the region. Proximity to the town center was a concern initially, but we quickly embraced the serene walks to the bustling streets, creating a wonderful balance of relaxation and adventure. If you’re a fellow food enthusiast, you’ll find plenty to savor here!
